Am I allowed to install a security screen door?

Security screen door information can be found in your association's governing documents (CC&Rs and Rules & Regulations), in the architectural guidelines section.  For most communities, security screen doors are permitted.  However, the association's CC&Rs or Rules & Regulations may indicate styles and/or colors that are pre-approved for your community.  Choosing a security door style and/or color that is pre-approved may prevent the need to make an architectural change request.  Each community is different, so please review your governing documents and ask questions before installing any security screen door.  You can request documents, and ask questions by contacting Heywood Community Management at (480) 820-1519, or submitting an online inquiry at this link:  https://heywoodmanagement.com/contact/
